지극히 은혜가 풍성하신 하나님, 땅과 하늘과 바다의 아름다움, 산들과 평원과 강들의 풍요함, 새들의 노랫소리와 꽃들의 사랑스러움 까닭에 님에게 감사를 드립니다. 우리가 이 선한 선물들 까닭에 님을 찬양합니다. 그리고 우리가 우리의 후손들을 위해서도 이 선물들을 잘 보존할 수 있기를 기도합니다. 우리가 님의 풍성한 창조세계를 흡족하게 향유하면서 지금과 영원토록 님의 이름의 존귀와 영광에 이르기까지 지속적으로 자라날 수 있게 해주시기를 기도합니다. 성무일도 (공동기도문) 중에서.

이미 지나간 일에 연연해하지 않게 하소서
누군가로부터 받은 따뜻한 사랑과
기쁨을 안겨주었던 크고 작은 일들과
오직 웃음으로 가득했던 시간들만 기억하게 하소서
앞으로 다가올 일을 걱정하지 않게 하소서
불안함이 아니라 가슴 뛰는 설렘으로
두려움이 아니라 가슴 벅찬 희망으로
오직 꿈과 용기를 갖고 뜨겁게 한 해를 맞이하게 하소서
더욱 지혜로운 사람으로 살아가게 하소서
바쁠수록 조금 더 여유를 즐기고
부족할수록 조금 더 가진것을 베풀며
어려울수록 조금 더 지금까지 이룬 것에 감사하게 하소서
그리하여 삶의 이정표가 되게 하소서
지금까지 있어왔던 또 하나의 새해가 아니라

Lord God, Sovereign Creator, Master of worlds, I bow my heart in awe-filled worship. In difficult days, help me trust fully in you. Lord Jesus, may I never lose the vision of your kingdom. 시간과 역사와 속량의 주 하나님, 세상죄를 감당하여 치워버리시는 이 예수의 오심에 감사드립니다. 예수님이 재위 하여 다스리시는 일에 대한 "기쁨의 외침"을 계속 반복하는 "들판과 바다와 바위와 언덕과 산들"에 대해 노래하면서 우리도 당신을 찬양하며 당신의 미션에 참여하는 일에 모든 피조물과 함께 동참하게 되기를 기도합니다. 아멘.

정의와 긍휼의 주 하나님, 한나의 기도의 상처 가운데서, 마리아의 송가의 기쁨 가운데서 기도드립니다. 독재자들과 정치사기꾼들을 끌어내려주시고, 개혁자들과 갱신하려는 이들과 구출해내려는 이들을 일으켜 세워주시며, 나그네들과 이방인들을 부추겨 주시고, 갇혀있는 자들을 풀어주시고, 눈먼 이들에게 시력을 주시고, 압제당하는 자들을 해방시켜주셔서, 물이 바다에 넘침같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 온 땅에 충만하기까지 당신의 은혜의 해를 선포해 주시기를 기도합니다. 아멘.
